Tomislav Ćorić was born in 1979 in Ploče. After finishing primary school and high school in his hometown of Ploče, he studied at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, where he continued his scientific training in the field of finance.
He completed the postgraduate study "Finance and Banking", and earned his PhD in 2011 by defending his doctoral dissertation on "ERM 2 exchange rate mechanism in the process of joining the European Economic and Monetary Union".
Since 2003, he has been working at the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Economics - Zagreb, first as an assistant, then as a senior assistant and assistant professor.
As part of his scientific and teaching work, he is the author of dozens of scientific and professional papers, and a participant in numerous scientific conferences, professional conferences and round tables. Areas of scientific interest are monetary policy and its transmission mechanism, financial institutions and markets.

Prof. Dragan Primorac is a pediatrician, forensic expert, and geneticist. Professor Primorac is the first recipient of the title “Global Penn State University Ambassador”. Currently, he serves as the Chair of the International Affairs Committee of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences and as professor at Eberly College of Science, The Pennsylvania State University and Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences, University of New Haven, in the United States and as professor at Medical Schools in Split, Rijeka and Osijek as well as at Department of Biotechnology, University of Rijeka, in Croatia. In October of 2016. he was appointed as a visiting professor at the College of Medicine and Forensics, Xi’an Jiaotong University, People’s Republic of China.
He authored two hundred and fifty scientific papers and abstracts. He also authored chapters in 20 books. Prof. Primorac was invited speaker at 120 conferences all around the world. His work was published in most cited journals, including Science and Nature, and his papers have been cited 5100 times (Google Scholar) while h-index is 31. He was mentoring 11 Ph.D. students and two students during their master’s degree process.
Currently, he is a pioneering application of the personalized medicine paradigm in clinical practice. His interests are in the field of personalized medicine, genetics, metabolic bone and cartilage disorders, regenerative medicine, population genetics, etc. He led many scientific projects, including the EU FP7 project entitled “Multi-dimensional OMICS approach to stratification of patients with low back pain,” worth 7.6 million euros (a team leader of the Croatian partner in the international consortium). Besides, he was one of the pioneers in DNA identification of skeletal human remains found in mass graves.
Prof. Primorac is co-founder and the President of The International Society of Applied Biological Sciences. Also, he co-founded the Department of Forensic Sciences at the University of Split, Croatia, and he was instrumental in establishing Regiomed Medical School in Bavaria, Germany. He is the Executive Committee member of the International Consortium for Personalized Medicine (IC PerMEd) established by The European Commission; the president of State competitiveness cluster in personalized medicine, The Croatian Society for Human Genetics and The Croatian Society for (Precision) Personalized medicine and of the Croatian Thematic Innovative Council for Health and Life Quality. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St Catherine Specialty Hospital and Deputy Head of the Department of Forensic Sciences at the University of Split, as well as the Head of the Department for Safety and National Security of the Department of Forensic Sciences at the University of Split. In 2019. he was appointed as a member of the Philips High-Level Advisory Board.

Ernest Vlačić, Ph.D., MBA, assistant professor, Head of ALGEBRA e-Leadership MBA study programme. In his research and academic career, he's been focused on organizational Strategic and Innovation Management and Innovation and Industrial Policies as well. His career started as a developing IT / HW engineer in PRVOMAJSKA corporation, after which he worked as a development engineer, corporative manager and branch director in DANIELI SpA, with whom he later on founded and led the technology spinout DANIELI SYSTEC. Ernest’s career continued in the role of Commercial Financial Director and Change Manager on National Scientific Science and Technology Project at the polytechnic Brodarski Institute, with whom he initiates a joint research and development organization NOVAMINA Center of Innovative Technologies. On a regular basis, he participates as invited lecturer on numerous scientific and professional conferences and acts as the professor on domestic and foreign higher education institutions, including the responsibilities of conducting managerial functions on higher education institutions. With NOVAMINA he is leading the practical implementation of a larger number of technological development research projects, which are amongst others financed through a successful application on EU and national funding instruments, such as FP7, Horizon2020, Razum BICRO and IRI. Concurrently, besides acting as an organizational manager and leader, he also as certified project manager guides and directs a number of complex projects and their portfolios in both, the technological development research innovation field and complex international multidisciplinary industrial projects.

He is coming to the position of Vice President from the position of Assistant Minister of the Economy of the Republic of Croatia, where he also held the position of head of the working group for drafting the Industrial Strategy of the Republic of Croatia 2014-2020, of which he is the main author. Until 2014, he worked in the real sector as the founder and CEO of the company Strategic Plan, which dealt with renewable energy sources and consulting services in the field of strategic management and finance. Prior to that, he held the position of President of the Management Board of AutoZubak.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, where he also received his doctorate with the topic The connection between strategy and business success of Croatian companies.

Prof. Willem Jonker (1962) has a broad background in ICT, both in industry as well as in academia. He studied mathematics and computer science at Groningen University, worked at Delft University of Technology, received his PhD from the University of Utrecht, and is a part- time full professor in computer science at Twente University.
Willem Jonker's industrial experience covers telecommunications (KPN), IT (European Computer industry Research Centre, Munich) and consumer electronics (Philips). He held several positions as researcher, international project leader, department head, sector head, and account manager. In 2006 he was appointed Vice President Philips Research. Jasmina Ranilović has more than 26 years of work experience in the field of quality control, regulatory affairs, research and development, in operational and managerial positions in the food industry. By profession, a food engineer, in 2008 she received a doctorate in the field of nutrition. Since 2009, she has been an external associate at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, in the study of Nutrition, where in 2016 she was elected a research associate.
Since 2012, she has been working as the Director of the Research and Development Sector of Podravka. Her interests are focused on research and innovation in the field of application of new technologies in food production, sustainable development and consumer behavior. She continuously publishes scientific and professional papers in this field.
